PRESTMIT
Prestmit Technologies, a leading fintech brand based in Nigeria, specializes in the exchange of cryptocurrencies and gift cards. As a subsidiary, they also offer services such as managing cable subscriptions, funding bet wallets, and facilitating airtime and data purchases. In early 2023, I was brought in as an in-house brand designer to support their marketing efforts, aimed at retaining their market share and expanding their presence in the industry.

PROBLEM
In late 2023, Prestmit rolled out a new product, which required a fresh look to effectively communicate the new offerings. We realized that our old logo clashed with a well-known online logo and wasn't versatile enough for print use. Plus, our current colour system was limited to just two colours, blue and white, which felt very restrictive. These issues made it clear that we needed to redesign our visual identity and system.
SOLUTION
We retained the original logo idea, inspired by the concept of an open wallet, reflecting one of Prestmit's core services. To enhance versatility, a print-friendly version of the logo was created. Additionally, we introduced a new visual system which included a new color system, brand patterns and visual devices to expand our visual identity, allowing us to better communicate our brand's voice and tone.

The New/Current Logo
Two versions of the logo were created to enhance versatility and usability across both digital and print media.

Mockup Representation of Logomark Use Cases
I developed an extensive color system with various shades and tints, each designed to consistently convey our mission and vision across diverse applications.
Prestmit’s Colours
I created different patterns from the dominant shape in our logomark to help maintain consistency across the brand’s multiple touchpoints. There are used in specific contexts such as backgrounds texture and design elements.
I developed comprehensive visual assets to ensure brand consistency across various communication channels.
I designed isometric icons sets for social media which maintaining a consistent colour system and visual language.
I developed a diverse illustration system featuring two distinct styles: 2D/semi-flat and 3D isometric illustrations. Both styles are designed with a minimalistic touch to ensure clear and effective communication.
I introduced a new typeface, Playfair Display (Serif), to complement our existing sans-serif, Rubik. This pairing not only adds flair to our visual design and communications but also helps highlight important content in our designs.
